Keep up to date about Milly and her mission

APRIL 2019

A team of 16 runners of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy will participate in this year’s SAS Half-Marathon on 7 April in Heidelberg. In connection to this event, they call for donations for Milly’s Mission within the research institute. More information is available here.

MARCH 2019

On 19 March 2019 AISNAF, Hoffnungsbaum e.V. und NBIA Disorders Association have opened a call for research grants for BPAN and MPAN. Thanks to an increase in donations, the funding could be increased significantly compared to the call of autumn 2018. Milly’s mission contributes EUR 13,000, which was raised through donations. On 12 March 2019 our Milly was a true top model. The photographer Sonia Epple accompanied us for several hours during which she took great photos of Milly and the three of us. You can already find some of these pictures on our website. Thank you, Sonia, for your visit and the time you spent with us.


On 28 February 2017 we observe the Rare Disease Day. On the occasion of this international day of campaigning, Milly’s Mission wants to raise awareness for BPAN and NBIA. You can find the events here.

On 12 February 2019 the Orphan Disease Center of the University of Pennsylvania, USA announces the winners of two BPAN research grants, each funded with $ 51,020. For more information see this page.
